2008 Tattar Scholarship Winners
Each year MCU awards two $1,000 scholarships to deserving students; however thanks to the generosity of retired educator Terry Avery, we were able to award three scholarships this year. The winners are:

Jessica Fitzroy
Jessica is a graduate of Greenwich High School and currently a junior at Southern Connecticut University. She has been a member since 1987. She is majoring in elementary education and Spanish. Her goal is to be a first grade teacher.

Lindsay Garafalo
Lindsay is a Greenwich High School graduate attending Wheelock College. She became a member at six years old. She is studying human development with a focus in psychology and concentration in elementary education.

Fabiola Gonzales
Fabiola is from Peru and studying here on a student Visa. She is a sophomore at Norwalk Community College majoring in business administration. She has been a member of the credit union for over a year. She said of her credit union membership, "It has been one of the most joyful experiences I have had in this country because of their efficiency and the way they make their members feel special."
